We are asking people from all over the country and the world who have seen or heard about this event and even those who have been affected by cancer to accept our challenge. We challenge you to, (during the months of October, November, and December), be involved with within your community with some type of water activity. If you don't like the water or your're afraid of the water, then feel free to do something that makes you feel comfortable. But PLEASE, just do something to raise awareness & funds for Patiends In Need of Financial Assistance" or "Patient Assistance Funds" in your area. You will be greatly suprised to find that many hospitals, clinics, universities and other facilities dealing with cancer patients & their families do not have such a fund set up. If the particular entity that you choose doesn't have a fund... THEN START ONE!!! And if anyone is not doing anything and wants to canoe around a little then come tag along. All that we ask is that you must; not be an amature, follow all federal and state laws, obtain a valid water permit and their own craft / support team, as well as release that states a zero liability towards us for your involvement in the event.
